  • Open the file on the machine that synchronizes with QB in notepad:
    C:\Program Files\ServiceLedger\ServiceLeger\quickbooks_invoice_template.xml
  • Find the lines that read:
    <FullName>Uncategorized Invoice Tax</FullName></ItemSalesTaxRef>

  • And place them on the same line (by deleting the return):

    <ItemSalesTaxRef><FullName>Uncategorized Invoice Tax</FullName></ItemSalesTaxRef>
