This error appears when you do not use the built-in ServiceLedger database engine, using your own version of SQL server, and you use NT authentication to log into the ServiceLedger database.

To resolve this, your network administrator needs to add the affected NT user account as a SQL server login and grant dbo privileges to that account to the ServiceLedger database.  Public permissions are usually granted on the master database as well.
