This question comes in multiple forms, but usually has only one quick solution. If you are unable to empty the database for any reason you can try the following steps:
Download empty database code manually by going to http://support.serviceledger.com/download/empty60ce/empty.bak and save to desktop.
Using either ServiceLedger or ServiceLedger Updater (depending on if you can log into ServiceLedger or not) restore using the downloaded file.
Click the Restore button and select the manually downloaded file to restore.
After you run the empty update code, it is recommended that you update to the latest version to ensure you are on the latest version of the software. See your updating instructions for more information.
