If the Item ID field for items in your database is longer than about an inch, some reports may not be able to display the entire Item ID in the space provided. The default behavior of ServiceLedger reports is to show what fits and cut off the rest. It is also possible to have ServiceLedger wrap the Item ID, i.e. show it on multiple lines, taking as many as are necessary to show the entire Item ID.
If you would prefer to have the Item ID wrapped rather than cut off, you will need to enable the following option: report.wrap_item_number.

Not all reports currently support this option, but major reports such as work orders and invoices should. If you encounter a report that does not wrap the Item ID after you've enabled this option, please contact ServiceLedger support by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) and mention the report and this KB Article number. If you have customized (or had us customize) the report, there may be charges associated with updating it to support this option.
