ServiceLedger Gives Me a Mapi Error on Startup and Will Not Load

If you are getting a Mapi Error of any kind on startup of ServiceLedger and ServiceLedger appears not to load up, it is becasue ServiceLedger is trying to communicate with Outlook and send email messages and you must continue to click the Allow button on the pop-up until all of the emails are sent and/or reconciled in ServiceLedger.  The number of times you have to continue to click the Allow button will depend upon the number of emails queued up for automatic email in your system.

This error will usually occur when you turn on automatic email notifications to a tech and/or customer and using Mapi for your email client in your ServiceLedger Email Setup preferences.  If you have recently turned on this feature, it is recommended that you change your email setup preferences to send emails via SMTP instead of Mapi to ensure you do not get this message each time ServiceLedger is sending an email through Outlook.

If you have a support plan and have many emails (or the number of emails are unknown) you can contact support for a connection where we can temporarily disable the feature so that you can change the email preferences to SMTP to avoid the pop-up message in the future.
