ServiceLedger performs logging on certain records in the system.  If you need to disable it, you will add the following to the shortcut that launches ServiceLedger:

-autoxml "<option option_name='logging_enabled' value='false'/>"

So the shortcut would read similar to (one line):

"C:\Program Files\ServiceLedger\ServiceLedger\ServiceLedger.exe" -autoxml "<option option_name='logging_enabled' value='false'/>"

As this implies, the system will stop logging changes.
